Looking for advice and assistance on the key legal considerations of running a business?

Nick Tompkin of Bennett Griffin's Commercial team will give a presentation on key legal considerations for businesses, including company formation, debt recovery, terms and conditions, common contract mistakes and more.

The talk will be followed by an interactive workshop, which will include thinking about and starting to put together heads of term/terms and conditions for your business, with Nick on-hand to provide expert assistance.

Who is it by: 

The session will be run by Nick Tompkin, Associate Solicitor, from Bennett Griffin's Company and Commercial team.

Nick specialises in Non-contentious Corporate and Commercial Work.

Nick joined Bennett Griffin in November 2012 as a non-contentious Commercial and Corporate Solicitor and was promoted to Associate Solicitor in 2014. Although Nick trained in Worthing and worked as a qualified Solicitor in the town until 2009, Nick was latterly a Partner at a rural practice in Mid Sussex.

Nick has a wealth of experience in acting for all sizes of Companies and Businesses in non-contentious Corporate and Commercial Work. However Nick also brings with him considerable experience of Commercial and Residential Property transactions and can therefore advise Corporate clients on their Premises as well as their business in general. Over recent years Nick has also gained considerable experience in Enfranchisement of residential property, including the successful establishment of Right to Manage Companies.

What will I get out of it?

The session will provide delegates with an opportunity to have any questions about the key legal considerations of running a business answered by a qualified legal expert.

Delegates will also be able to start putting together heads of term/terms and conditions for their business in the session's interactive workshop segment, supervised by Nick Tompkin.

This will provide delegates with personally-tailored actionable insights that they can take back with them to implement within their own businesses.
